Emaar Properties, Dubai's largest listed developer, reported on Thursday that its pre-tax profit for the first nine months of 2026 climbed 18 per cent year-on-year to Dh19.8 billion, as revenue rose 13 per cent to Dh37.5 billion from Dh33.1 billion a year earlier.

Property sales for the period reached Dh34.7 billion, with UAE developments contributing Dh26.2 billion and international projects adding Dh8.5 billion, up 5 per cent. The group's malls, retail and commercial arm grew 10 per cent to Dh5.2 billion. EBITDA rose 19 per cent to Dh19.7 billion, giving the company a 53 per cent margin, while its revenue backlog grew 6 per cent to Dh158.8 billion.

During the nine months, Emaar launched 14 new projects across its master-planned communities and handed over more than 4,800 residential units in the UAE, with 80 per cent of its active local projects running ahead of schedule. Occupancy stood at 98 per cent across its malls portfolio and 63 per cent across its UAE hotels.

Chairman Mohamed Alabbar said the company remained focused on "delivering quality homes and ensuring that its communities continued to perform over time." The results underline the resilience of Dubai's property market despite wider regional headwinds this year, with handovers and sales both continuing to climb across the emirate.
